JSCB Kapitalbank (hereinafter - the Bank) operates in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Also, JSCB Kapitalbank adheres to the requirements of international legislation, including measures in economic, financial, trade restrictions.
Please note that in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on countering the legalization of proceeds from criminal activities, financing of terrorism and financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the Bank is obliged to comprehensively analyze its clients and the operations carried out by them in order to prevent the Bank from being involved in operations and conducting transactions that may have the purpose of: violation or circumvention of applicable legal norms and requirements, illegal operations, as well as with high reputational, sanctions and other risks.
The effect of some international economic, financial and trade measures of a restrictive nature established and put into authorized bodies of foreign countries and international organizations may extend to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and legal entities created in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to certain types of activities. In this regard, the Bank shall not and cannot be responsible for the "blocking" ("freezing") of funds, the suspension of the operation in order to clarify additional information or the refusal to conduct the operation by third parties, including foreign correspondent banks, due to a possible violation of international economic measures of a restrictive nature.
The Bank may request additional information in connection with the conduct of an operation or transaction, recommend to refuse to perform an operation or conclude a transaction with the participation of the Bank in the event of reasonable concerns or identification of facts valid in relation to one or some of its participants (sender, recipient, or beneficiary, as well as participating financial institutions, other person)economic, financial, trade measures of a restrictive nature established by the authorized bodies of foreign countries and international organizations.
We kindly ask you to exercise caution in relation to your counterparties in order to avoid misunderstandings, as well as to provide the documents and clarifications requested by the Bank in a timely manner.
